ICDE 2022 Registration Guide
Welcome to the annual IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE), a flagship conference addressing issues in designing, building, managing and evaluating advanced data-intensive systems and applications. The organizing committee is proud to host the ICDE and have the community together again this year, albeit virtually. To ensure a smooth experience, the ICDE 2022 Registration Guide provides all the necessary information prior to the conference day. The guide contains two main sections: Registration Confirmation and FTP Video Upload.
ICDE 2022 Registration Confirmation
1 The organizing committee has included all registrants in the ICDE virtual conference system based on the email address used for registration fee payment.
2 In order to confirm your registration and gain access to ICDE virtual conference site, please log in via the following site. You will reach the landing page.
3 Log in to the site using the email address used during the registration fee payment, and the system will automatically send out the access link to your email. Do note that the access link expires in 15 minutes.
4 Once successfully logged in, you will be redirected to the conference lobby, shown in the figure below. You can access the virtual conference site from the lobby, including setting up a password and viewing the program schedule and available sessions.
5 Proceed to set up your participant profile by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of the page. Please have the following details filled in:
6 Log in to the site using the email address used during the registration fee payment, and the system will automatically send out the access link to your email. Do note that the access link expires in 15 minutes.
FTP Video Upload Instructions
1 Since the 2022 ICDE is set to be held virtually, the organizing committee has prepared a dedicated FTP server for participants to upload their pre-recorded videos (if any).
2 The FTP server is set for FTP client access, not browser-based. Therefore, we recommend applications such as Fetch, FileZilla or WinSCP.
3 To upload videos, set up the connection in the FTP client using the credentials and details provided below. An example is given in the figure below (submission is closed).
4 Once you have access to the server, upload your .mp4 file(s) using the naming convention listed in Table 1. Once uploaded, fill up the confirmation form via the following URL: bit.do/icde-ftp-confirm to allow the organizing committee to confirm receipt.
5 The dateline for FTP video upload is 25 April 2022 (Monday, 23:59 UTC +8).
6 Please rename your file according to the convention as follows.
